Cotton is a non-lustrous, short-staple plant fibre.

The exact staple length and micron size is unknown, however typical Egyptian cotton has a staple length of 380-440mm.

Our cotton top roving is sourced from one of the longer varieties of the plant. The longer staple provides a stronger fibre, with less tendency to pilling.
